Module 4: Communicating and Collaborating with Social Media
Since social media is becoming the standard for communicating with others, it should be utilized in education. Technologies like Blogger can be used to communicate with colleagues, students, or parents (K-12).
Module 3: Education Video for Science/Math Education
I created a video using Screencorder, Jing, and CamStudio. Since Jing only allows for 5-minute videos, I initially thought of the criteria as a challenge. However thinking about how Jing could be used in the classroom, I realized that videos can be used to reinforce a single concept only. Please view my video below.
Module 2: Concept Mapping in Science/Mathematics Education
After using CMAP in class, I realized that I could introduce course material using a concept map to assist students in understanding topics in class. I used CMAP to create a concept map of the information in my blind and low vision accessibility presentation. CMAP is an incredible tool that teachers and students can use in create concept maps and store information or pictures along with its corresponding information.

Module 1: Assistive Technologies & Student Accommodation
For this assignment, each of my classmates choose a disability to research and present our results. I chose blind and low vision accessibility in distance education. This assignment provided me the opportunity to learn options that I can provide to students with blind or low vision within the classroom not only in distance learning. Please view my presentation below.
